With this victory, the Daredevils join the other seven teams with at least one victory in the tournament. Nothing went right for Pune after they won the toss. Their bowlers were awful and let the Daredevils get off to a quick start. Samson was the catalyst as he completed his maiden T20 ton. He started it and Morris finished it off in style – belting a 9-ball 38. Chasing 206, the hosts never got going, they needed a star turn from stand-in captain, Ajinkya Rahane. He fell cheaply and the rest simply caved him. Six batsmen reached double figures, but the highest score was Mayank Agarwal, who himself made only 20. Wickets shared all around by the Delhi bowlers and they will be boosted by this fine performance.

16.1 Pat Cummins to Dinda, out Caught by Mishra!! The Daredevils have opened their tally and it’s Cummins who has the final wicket. On a good length and on the stumps, Dinda was backing away on the drive, doesn’t get hold of the shot and chips it tamely towards cover. Mishra runs forward, dives and completes the catch. A 97-run mauling at home for Pune, they would love to forget today’s display as soon as possible.Dinda c Mishra b Pat Cummins 7(7) [4s-1]

Pat Cummins to Dinda, THAT’S OUT!! Caught!!
